Emami Biotech Limited is a part of the Rs 5000 Cr Emami Group of Companies based in Kolkata, India. Emami Group is spearheading the process of developing Haldia in West Bengal & Krishnapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. The company has set up a state-of-the-art 300 MT per day multi-feed stock bio-diesel plant at Haldia, the largest and the first of its kind in eastern India, at a cost of Rs. 150 Cr, in technical collaboration with Desmet Ballestra of Italy. Emami has set up two of its oil refineries, one in Krishnapatnam in Andhra Pradesh and another one located in Haldia. The company expects the new edible oil refineries will increase production multiple times and thus will meet the demand for the product which is rising with every passing day.

Emami Biotech Limited, Krishnapatnam plant newly established in 2012 has a total capacity of refining 1200TPD, interesterification 200TPD with vanaspati and manufacturing. This is the second unit of the group in edible oil accredited of ISO: 9001, 140001, food safety certification. Product of this unit includes Healthy & Tasty (palm & sun flower), Himani Goldnlite, Sunnlite, Frynlite etc. brand of Bakery Bakeman shortening.

Responsibilities:-

Statutory Compliances :
Ø  All return preparation and submission - (Factory Inspector, Labour Directorate,Fire Dept, Municipality),
    Contract Labour, Labour Welfare Fund.     
Ø  Annual list of all statutory license and maintain the  update status
Ø  Maintaining PR calendar as per the requirement
Ø  Maintaining all documents as per the Contract Labour (R&A) Act.
Ø  Maintaining good relationship with all govt. Officials

Recruitment :
Ø  Data bank arrangements
Ø  Interview scheduling
Ø  Salary negotiation
Ø  Getting final manpower approval from Unit Head

Industrial Relations :
Ø  Employee Grievances handling
Ø  Maintaining Good ER
Ø  PR with TU leaders
Ø  Maintaining relationship with other local industries

Ø  Taking  Care of Salary, PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus ,Leave records
